Dassara/Vijaya Dashami: a special day of ceremony, healing, & meditation, deep in the energy of Mother Divine and Her victory over the forces of darkness.

UCBK is celebrating the power of the Divine Feminine on Her peak day — and you’re invited to join us!

Dassara/Vijaya Dashami, the Victory Day of Mother Divine, comes as the final day of the whole Navarathi cycle. Dassara is a powerful day for receiving divine healing, higher consciousness, and the direct blessing of Mother Divine in Her top peak form — as She helps each of us defeat the inner darkness in our lives, and replace it with holy light.

It is also the anniversary of the Mahasamadhi (conscious death) of the great miracle healing saint Shirdi Sai Baba, who left his body on Dassara in 1918. Shirdi Baba took his mahasamadhi at that peak time, saying, “Mother is calling, I have to go.” His energy will ALSO be running super-strongly, on Dasara.

We will be observing this powerful day with a whole series of healing, blessing events — in South Los Angeles.

Using the Five Elements of nature in a purposed, and divine, way, we will do traditional practices (from India) to bring the energy of the gurus as strongly as possible, to bless, heal, uplift, and support everyone who attends, either in person or online.

The day will start with a maha abishek (holy bath) of our Shirdi Baba statue, and some Mother Divine statues as well, using the water element, plus sacred substances like rosewater, milk, ash, and more. Then we will go to the fire — doing a high-powered special Dassara homa, to expand on the blessings for everyone & bring Mother’s energy strongly. Finally, we will have a lovely time singing bhajans and meditating together, deep in the energy of the creation energy of Mother Divine… flowing extremely strongly on this sacred day.

It will be a beautiful day! We are so looking forward to seeing everyone come together in Mother’s lap, as it were.
