“The flame is the tiny symbol of the huge light of God.” - Sri Kaleshwar

Let’s burn out our stress, strain, negativity, and karmas together on this new moon - our first official fire homa in Ste. Genevieve. (It’ll make a super-memorable Memorial Day!)

Fire homa is a traditional Vedic (from India) healing and spiritual ceremony, bringing the inner energy of the fire element, a microcosm of the sun and its creative capacity, to bless the hearts and souls of all who attend.

In fire homas, we chant powerful ancient prayers and mantras, and make holy offerings into the sacred fire. The result is a strong response from the divinity — an intense charging to your soul, as if you’d sat in deep meditation for 10-12 hours per day for a month.

Harnessing the power of the new moon, when the moon is at its darkest, we amplify its highly divine healing and blessing energy through the homa, to help everyone receive the highest blessing.

Why do we do fire homas? You can read more in this helpful article on Alx’ blog.

ON THE DAY: To receive the maximum benefit and healing from the homa fires, and because of the super-intense energies involved, it's highly advisable on the actual day of the homa to eat vegetarian food only and avoid intoxicants.
