A Sri Kaleshwar & William Shakespeare workshop

The pound of flesh, which I demand of him,
Is dearly bought; ’tis mine and I will have it.
– Shakespeare, from The Merchant of Venice

Krishna went (disguised) like a super-rich maharaj, with lots of horses, to that area.
He went to Kabir Das.  “Can you please bless the moksha to me?”
Kabir Das asked, “I can give you the moksha, but can you cut and give me two pounds of flesh? I want to eat it. If your flesh is tasty, then I’ll give the moksha, the enlightenment.”
Is it fair or is it unfair? It is fair.
– Sri Kaleshwar

It’s another Vedic Shakespeare experience!

An intensive pre-recorded workshop steeped in the mechanisms of Shiva and Shakti (including Vishnu and Lakshmi), of the ghora-aghora channels, of the role of kama (desire), kala (time), and karma (action-to-reaction) in this creation and our lives, via Sri Kaleshwar & William Shakespeare.

The lila is the thing!

(In Sanskrit, “lila” literally means…. a “play.”)

The Puranas of Vedic India, the epic stories of the divine characters and their exploits, make up some of the deepest philsophical spiritual texts in our world. There are those who say the rishis (super-high consciousnes creator characters) wrote the scripts of human epochs (yugas), and then humanity has played out those scripts of the lila, or the divine play.

But rishis aren't limited to the foggy days of antiquity and nearly-forgotten histories of thousands of years ago -- we have experienced numerous rishis in our modern era, as well, and in the West… arguably none so influential on human language, thought, poetry, philosophy, and life itself, as William Shakespeare.

In fact, a deeper study of the epic stories of India yields the insight that the myths are describing, impeccably, the mechanisms of our creation (especially the human energy system) -- and many of the Shakespeare plots, themes, characters, and underlying currents are, similarly, describing the same mechanisms, using the English language instead of Sanskrit.

It could be said, with all seriousness, that Shakespeare wrote modern Puranas - with definite, conscious links to the Vedic tradition of ancient India. The lila is truly the thing!

In this workshop, we will be going deeply into energy mechanisms of Mother Divine, of the avadhuta nature, of the ghora-aghora dynamics (the horror in the beauty, the beauty in the horror), and the role of the three K’s — kama, kala, karma — in the divine drama of a group of soul mates waking up together.

Other themes: the power of mercy, the Divine Court, the difference between human justice and divine justice, the role of soul mates in our creation and enlightenment, and how Mother Divine plays HER lilas on us all, as well.

All of these mechanisms are beautifully — and provocatively — brought to life via Shakespeare’s play, The Merchant Of Venice, and shown to us through the mirror of Nature, held up to each of our own souls as we absorb the deeper messages and meanings inherent in this masterful play.

"The subject is the divine bee
& the beehive, how the bee gives
the nectar in the nature.
I am talking the philosophy of Shakespeare here."
